Who needs a driver examination
Driver examinations are required for professional drivers, taxi and ride-hailing drivers (Uber, Bolt, FreeNow), forklift and machine operators, and when obtaining or renewing certain driving licence categories.
- Cat. B - passenger cars (including taxi, Uber, Bolt).
- Cat. C and D - trucks and buses.
- Goods and passenger transport, emergency vehicles.
- Forklift and machinery operators (UDT).
What the examination includes
A medical check-up (vision, and where required ECG and audiometry) and - for professional drivers - a psychotechnical examination (psychotesty). The physician then issues the certificate (orzeczenie).
Price and turnaround
From 300 zł for cat. B; for cat. C/D and taxi drivers approximately 499 zł, depending on the category and city. The certificate is usually ready the same day.
